I want to talk to you guys about survey junkie and my honest review after using them for more than two years.

If you want to learn how to become debt free and maybe supply your beer or coffee budget with some extra dough. I'm gonna be taking a  look at survey junkie today. So I've been using survey junkie for over two years now and before that I had tested some other platforms taking online surveys and I was testing one called E-rewards and it ended up just giving me magazine subscriptions. I really wanted a platform that could actually send me cold hard cash and survey junkie does just that. I want to show you what the platform looks like inside. The coolest thing about survey junkie is that you can cash out fairly quickly as long as you are consistent with taking online surveys a couple of important things to note. There is a ten dollar minimum threshold in order to get paid out but you can get paid out in three different ways. You can get paid out by gift cards PayPal or bank transfer. 

I'm going to show you inside of the dashboard. I'm going to get paid out in the form of a gift card. That's really fun. But this is not a good source of income. I will say that you're not going to be able to supplement enough extra income as a side hustle using survey junkie. However you can use the income that you earn from taking these surveys to supplement fund money. So if you really like Starbucks or if you really like going out and having your beer budget available. This is where that income from serving Junkie would come into play. You could use it to cash flow some of those expenses and not take away from your regular monthly living expenses. Another thing to note about survey junkie is you have to be OK with sharing your personal information.

Now these surveys are supposed to protect your privacy and not use the data anywhere else other than for the purposes of the survey and gathering information. But you will be sharing information like your birthday sometimes your address. How much money you make what your educational background is. If you're not comfortable sharing that information then survey junkie taking online surveys in general is probably not a good fit for you. You also only earn points as fast as you take the surveys. So if you're only taking a survey once a month you're not going to earn enough points to meet that ten dollar minimum payout very quickly. 

So I think when I hit that pay out way back when I still haven't cash it out it's kind of been sitting there as I've been trying other side hustles and income streams but it probably took me about 30 days to hit that 10 dollar minimum payout. So again you're going to spend a lot of time taking surveys for not much point in return but if it's something that you can do mindlessly while you're watching net flicks or you have some time downtime in between projects I'd certainly hop on and take a survey. Another thing that I want to know is that it's best to take the survey using a laptop or desktop computer. They do allow surveys using their mobile app but the mobile app surveys tend to fill up really quickly. A lot of these third party surveyors they want you to use a laptop or desktop because oftentimes they have different exercises that involve video or pressing different buttons as you're watching something. So it's best to do it on a laptop. OK let's take you inside of my dashboard and I'll show you how I'm going to redeem some cash.

So you can see here that I have a couple of surveys that I can take that are already available and then they tell you how much time it takes to complete that survey and how much the survey is worth. So I always go for the least amount of time and the most points they have this extension here. One hundred and fifty points. But as I clicked on it.
it's going to be tracking all of your browsing internet browsing and I just wasn't cool with that. So I haven't added the extension but it would bump you up significantly points wise so you would just click on one of these surveys take them and add your points then you're going to see over in the left hand side how much points you have. So unfortunately two thousand twenty two hundred points does not equivalent to twenty two hundred dollars. I wish. 
It actually equivalents to twenty two dollars and thirty three cents. So what I can do is click redeem. Now I think I'm going to redeem maybe just half of this for now and you can choose these three methods to payout and I'm going to choose gift card and they're going to send me a verification code. So let me go ahead and grab that really quickly. All right. So just inputting my verification code and now I get to choose what gift card I want. So they have Amazon Coupon I tuned so for a. Starbucks Target or Wal-Mart. And then you can choose what denomination you want for the gift cards. So I have twenty two dollars on my account so I can choose any anything less than 20 bucks it looks like. So what do you guys think Target Starbucks. It's going to be a quick decision here. But I think I'm going to go with Starbucks. And then that gift card will be sent to my email address. Click. Yes. And to redeem. And then I'll get an email confirmation. Pretty easy to do. And my points are automatically going to update.
